About Us
TINA'S BABY is a 501(c)(3) organization that invests in the potential and well-being of Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Area residents, providing the tools and resources they need to thrive and build generational wealth. Since 2014, Tina's Baby has proudly invested in the lives of over 5,500 local residents. Our annual Prom Gown Giveaway, launched in 2016, has grown to serve at least 1,200 middle and high school girls, helping them celebrate their milestones with confidence. We empower young people with essential skills for success by teaching self-love, discipline, and teamwork through a range of programs that blend art, history, and life skills. In partnership with organizations like the Department of Employment Services, we also provide valuable work experience through the Mayor Marion S. Barry Summer Youth Employment Program, offering jobs to 200 youth. Our inclusive approach extends to individuals on the autism spectrum, and our programs include Career Development, Visual Arts, Healthy Cooking, and First Aid certification, all designed to foster growth and well-being.

OUR VISION We believe, community building is essential to the human spirit and well-being. It also empowers people to exercise their humanity, build civic discourse, and engage their creative potential. Our goal is to provide residents with resources for cultural and economic development that will educate Men, Women, and Children on how to become healthy, inclusive, and prosperous individuals while curving the violence and making a positive change to the future of our community. We are determined to make this happen but cannot do it alone. We need your support. You can start right now by DONATING to our mission.
OUR MISSION It is our mission to end the cycles of poverty by providing an outlet and tools that empower people to build success fulfilling lives, that lead to sustainable communities and allow them to express themselves with positive impacts and hope of decreasing problems of economic deprivation, discrimination, sickness, poverty, and crime for all of humanity.
